Discipleship is about connecting, not just another number.

Discipleship comes in so many different ways and forms. It could be a karate instructor, a teacher, a neighbor, parent, and or leader in some arena.

True discipleship is a two-way road of building each other up, investing for the growth and improvement of one another, learning and teaching in discipline, and that just begins the list. A genuine mentor is an individual that not only seeks to lead but one that learns from you. In learning you they learn how to hone your gifts in order for you to advance.

So when you allow someone to disciple you, you give them the gift of learning what they can only learn from you. This could come in a variety of lessons, but it is unique to only you. Whom are you discipling? Whom are you allowing to disciple you? This could be truly anyone you encounter, the bus driver, your plumber, your pastor, your neighbor, your coach, etc.
