In order for you to achieve all that has already been planned for you since before you were born, you will have to sacrifice some things in your life. These sacrifices may be things that are dear to your heart. They may even be people, places, and things in your life that have been there for what may seem like forever. The most comfortable things that you have clung to maybe the very things that have created ruts in your life, and these ruts will have to be leveled out. This was once your garden that you visited frequently, you sat, you dreamed, you invited some in, and you had great times. You were able to revisit this place every day of your life, and the seasons that came, came with new storms, scorching sun, windy evenings, and your darkest nights. How did all this happen? The tenders of your soil slowly became the owners of your garden, and as they owned what you plowed, the daily visits now became obligated ruts that were created by the trampling of your once peaceful space. It is time for a change in your life, which consists of sacrifice. And this sacrifice will, in turn, turn your ruts into leveled spaces to replant, reseed and renew your ground… so that you can grow.
When you level the ground, you will be able to see all the impurities, the deeply rooted weeds, debris, collected garbage that the wind blew in, and where the soil that was trampled needs nourishment. As you begin to work the soil and mix the good and the bad together, you will see the areas that may need more treatment. These areas only produce scarcity in vegetation, but you will not need to totally remove the old soil, you will only need to add more good soil and blend it all together. See, because mixing the old or worn-out soil with the new, can really bring a mix of age, beauty, and power to your harvest.
Look at this new level ground as a reminder of the sacrifice that you made by keeping some of the old experiences (malnourished soil), and the new mindset (fresh revitalized soil), and leaving the fruit of what once was and press forward toward the greater harvest that is coming from your place of sacrifice and endurance.
