Have you ever been in a place in the field of life that you just couldn't take anymore, and you gave up? How did that make you feel? As you think to that moment, what caused you to finally throw in the towel? Or did you?
No matter what the outcome was in that season, you are still here. So, in a huge way, you persevered! It may not look exactly how you wanted it to turn out, but you're here. You may not have seen the results you wanted, but you're here. You may not have felt like you did, but you're here!
See, perseverance isn't only about the huge cheer from the crowds, the atta boy/girl from the sidelines, or the grand exit of the game! In fact, your greatest victories just may come in the form of, “Whew, I made it!” And in those moments no one and I mean no one will never truly understand the win of your persevering moments unless they have truly embraced this concept.
This concept is about being content in all things that you are involved in. Content in the place of your highest moments, and your lowest moments as well. This means to be at peace in your moments of adversity in perseverance, and good with what comes along with it. This does not mean for you to be so comfortable in it, that you forget what it means to push along for more, that in fact, you become complacent. Complacency is your worst nightmare! Complacency will offer you spiritual paralysis, and if you are not careful, you will be stuck!
So, get out of that spiritual wheelchair, and begin to walk in the power and the anointing in your life that only God has given you!
Never give up my friend!
Write and evaluate your thoughts and put them into action!
