I believe we all have the same potential as new creations in Christ.  How can we release our full potential.  Jesus tells us in Mark 4:21-26.  Let's take a look.

I believe we all have the same potential for success in the Kingdom of God.  In Mark 4:20 Jesus says that some seed of God's word fell on good ground yet the good ground produced at different levels .  Why.  If God does not show partiality there should only be 100 fold production.  Let's look into the rest of Jesus' teaching to find out why,

There is a lot of talk today about everyone having the same opportunities and why some do and others don't.  The truth is that in natural things we don't all have the same opportunities.  However, it is not that way in the Kingdom of God.  We all have tremendous potential in God.  Let's see what the Word has to say about our potential and ultimately how we release it in life.

There is something about our society that makes waiting on God extremely difficult.  We have become a society of noise.  We cannot deal with not having something feeding our need for input all the time.  However, to wait on God is a product of relationship and relationship requires we hear him.  The bible tells us in Ps. 46:10 that to know him we must be still.  How can we cultivate stillness in a world of noise.  I believe the Word of God can give us some help.

We tend to think of waiting of or for the Lord only in times when we need something.  That is not what we need to do.  Waiting on God must become a lifestyle.  How can we develop that?  Let's go to the Word and see.

Perhaps the most important key to successful waiting is to remember that we are not waiting for something but we are waiting on someone.  If we are going to wait successfully we are going to have to understand the key that the Centurion understood during his encounter with Jesus.

Isaiah 40 speaks repeatedly about weariness.  When we are tired for a long time we become weary.  This happens when things wear on us until we feel we can not longer go on.  At this point we may even feint.  Everyone gets to this point sometimes.  In Isaiah 40, the Lord shows how we can overcome this condition.  Let's look and see how.
