When we look at waiting, it is important to understand what to expect from God.  It is even more important to understand just who it is we are waiting for.  It is almighty God!  Isaiah has some powerful insights that can help us.

When Sarah got impatient and tried to help God bring about the manifestation of his promise of a child to her and Abraham, she created a problem that is still causing strife to our day.  Abraham waited for the promise of God.  Even though it took 25 years and during that time it became even more impossible for God to do what he said, Abraham continued to wait in faith.  How did he do that.  We can learn what Abraham did in Romans 4.  We can do the same to help us wait effectively.
