Paul understood what it took to build the kind of relationship that produced the flow of revealed knowledge in his life.  In 1 Corinthians 12 he said that he knew a man who heard and saw things he could not preach.  That man was Paul himself.  How did he develop that kind of relationship?  He tells in his letter to the Philippians.
