Navigate The Day

Practice Letting Go

Listen Later

Say Hello

Welcome to Navigate the Day! Today, we dive into a lesson that has challenged me deeply: learning to let go. Inspired by a timeless quote from Epictetus, this episode explores the fragility of life, relationships, and possessions—and how embracing impermanence can guide us toward freedom and resilience.

Epictetus reminds us to cherish people and experiences without clinging to the illusion of permanence. But let’s be honest—letting go is hard, especially when emotions run deep. This week, I’ve wrestled with the heartbreak of lost love, the weight of regret, and the struggle to accept what I cannot control. My own story of love and loss with someone dear to me—let’s call her “Pleroma”—has been a raw reminder of the work I still need to do.

In this episode, I reflect on how attachment and fear of rejection held me back, how my own insecurities clouded my actions, and why preparing for life's inevitable changes isn’t about giving up but growing stronger. Together, we’ll explore what it means to truly live in the moment, to see our loved ones as gifts, not possessions, and to navigate life’s uncertainties with courage and grace.

If you’ve ever struggled to accept change, battled self-doubt, or found yourself clinging to the past, this episode is for you. Join me as I unpack the lessons from this week and discover how we can let go—not by rejecting love but by embracing it wisely and deeply. Let’s take this journey together.

Thank you for listening and joining me on my journey of self-discovery!
