I think it’s easy enough to say that the simple quip “practice makes perfect” is scriptural. Men, like Ralph Waldo Emerson, have carried the same idea from Scripture... "That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed but that our power to do has increased."

Practice unto perfection or maturity is a natural law of consciousness. It’s what Christian discipleship is all about. As we persist in repentance and obedience to His will we complete ourselves through His working in and through us.
