As a young person, Ben MacConnell was shown what it meant to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God” by a Presbyterian pastor in Louisville, Kentucky.  Reflecting back on his experiences working to build networks of faith communities to address issues of injustice in their community, he identifies the source of his work to be his faith.  Faith in God and our connections to each other give him hope that drives him (and us) to action.
