Practicing God’s Presence

Question: Is God here with us this morning? (see Matthew 18:20)

Big Idea: God created us to truly do life in His presence.

The man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as He

was walking in the garden in the cool of the day…Genesis 3:8, (see 2:16)

“Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.” Exodus 25:8

“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call Him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men (back in the neighborhood), and He will live WITH THEM. They will be His people, and God Himself will be WITH THEM and be their God. Revelation 21:3

Ichabod (1 Samuel 4:21):

Where is the glory. God’s glory has departed (see Revelation 2:1-7)
