Obedience can be a difficult word. Many are cynical about the word and those who would use it. We seem to naturally distrust the call to obey. Perhaps this is because obedience has been posited to us as our duty. A duty that has often meant, “don’t ask questions, and do what you’re told.” However, obedience is Christ’s command to each one of us. In fact he tells us “If you love me, you will obey my commandments.” Oof! What? How many times do you hear that in a salvation message? Today Sarah and Rob unpack Jesus’ message of obedience.
