Main Point of the Sermon: Pursuing Jesus for our personal recognition gains personal glory and earns temporary rewards. Pursuing Jesus with the proper motivation gains God’s glory and earns eternal rewards.

Application:

May God lead us towards practicing righteousness for the glory of His name. (It's All About Him)

May God purge us from practicing righteousness for the sake of our own name. (It's Not About Us)

May God remind us of the insufficiency of self-righteousness and the necessity of perfect righteousness. (It's All Because of Grace)
