Welcome to Episode 51 of Praestabilis: Excellence in Marketing
Making a commitment to excellence and only having three items on your “to-do” list each day are the topics I discuss in Episode 51. I discuss the importance of finding things in both your personal and professional life that you feel strongly enough about to become fully committed. Also, take a closer look at the idea of decluttering your physical space and mental thoughts. Then I go into a rant about the idea of multi-tasking and how it’s not possible to do two or more things that require conscious decisions, simultaneously.
It’s time to get out of your comfort zone, once and for all and on a regular basis. Once you stretch your mind beyond where it’s at right now, you’ll never go back to what you did previously. This is the quote that comes to mind when I think about this idea – “Man’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes.
Think of your life and business as a way to share your personal feelings, thoughts, and beliefs with the world. I first learned about this as a concept from the people who were in my first Rotary Club when I joined in 2006. They each had something they felt strongly about and incorporated it into their business. The psychotherapist was an animal lover and had photos of rescued animals in her office. That would start the conversation with her clients and many of them got involved. The man who owned a car dealership had sons who were active in local theatre productions and that became a way to connect with prospects and customers. What do you care deeply about that can be a topic to discuss to set yourself apart from others in your niche or field?
Actions are everything and bring about the results we wish to achieve. Be sure to come aboard for my complimentary Action Habits Challenge and we can work through this topic together. As a part of this training I am highly recommend the book Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action by Simon Sinek.

Let’s Get Back to How to Create Passive Income
For example, you’re a content writer and you get paid by the word. This means that if you write a certain number of words, you get a certain number of dollars. The rate you receive might be excellent and your earnings high. But there’s a ceiling that you’ll never break through because even at a good rate,
