Welcome! In Episode 79 I the topic is “What to do when you don’t have time to do anything!” and still want to create a profitable business to run from home or from wherever you are in the world and have an internet connection but not enough time.
Life happens to all of us, and I was busy caring for a family member who’d just had open heart surgery I realized that I was fortunate to have created strategies and systems over the years to ensure my income does not take even the slightest dip when I have very little time to be online. These strategies include…
* Focus on your Big Picture Goal(s) – knowing what it is you wish to achieve in your business will make a difference in how you approach each day and every activity in your business. For me, income producing activities come first, followed by ones that increase my reach and build relationships.
* Prioritize what needs to be done. Sending an email message to my list comes first, followed by sharing what’s for sale with my social media community. I’m on Twitter at https://twitter.com/ConnieGreen if you’d like to see how I do this in real time.
* Ask for help. We all like to think of ourselves as being “Super Person” but the truth is that no single person is responsible for a business achieving incredible results. Friends, family members, people you’ve built relationships with online, and virtual assistants all play a part in our success, especially when time is of the essence.
* Learn shortcuts. After you do something a hundred or more times, your mind will come up with strategies to help you do it faster, more smoothly, and more effectively. Strive to achieve this by being willing to trust yourself when it comes to time management and productivity as an online entrepreneur.
* Keep moving forward, no matter what. Do not allow anyone or any thing to derail you from achieving your goals and dreams, even if time is short and the tasks you need to complete feel tedious.
* Take it one step at a time. There is no rush to success. Allow your life to unfold in a way that feels right to you. Know that everything is possible and that God and the Universe will continue to conspire in your favor.
* Create “to-do” lists with the goal of transferring no more than three or four items to your schedule to complete each day. It’s easy to become overwhelmed by an unlimited and growing list of tasks and activities you intend to complete… some day. Instead live by your schedule and watch your productivity soar.
