While making camp for the evening, Ariana Sulnar, a traveling performer, is approached by Pramod, the god of deception, who comes to her with an offer. The god will provide the woman his blessing, allowing her to hide her consecrated divinity from the world, but in exchange, she must complete a small task for him. A cryptic request, Pramod asks her to find a man she has never met and give the man guidance in his own life.
