Today we come up with perhaps something more than just a podcast. I’m saying this because the questions we will dwell on are basic existential ones that to date are only partially answered. 

We will try to find the similarities between modern-day sciences and the ancient Vedas of Hinduism. The way we are going to do this is through highlighting these correlations in the context of one question that eventually resulted in everything else. 

Even the fact that I’m sitting here and sharing this podcast with you. How was the universe created?

This headline isn’t there just to attract attention. These two historical figures were mostly different from each other but nonetheless, they shared certain traits. Both were royalty at a certain point in time, lived in a secluded place, and possessed an unmatched magnetism. Napoleon ascended to the French throne and thus became emperor. Buddha was born into a ruler’s family. 

His father was the leader of the Shakya clan that inhabited eastern India. Napoleon was sent into exile in 1814 to the island of St. Helena where he eventually died. Buddha left his luxurious lifestyle and transformed into an ascetic monk when he was only 29. Napoleon managed to build trust in an instant with all his soldiers and they were naturally inclined to follow him. Buddha had such an aura around him that people from all walks of life made themselves his disciples.

Fear is the polar opposite of courage. Love is the opposite of hate. At least when we view it through the prism of the English language. But let us try and look at it from another standpoint. 

Is heart more than just a pump? Do our feelings have an electromagnetic nature? Can they travel through dimensions?

In 1977, Carl Edward Sagan the famous 20th-century astrophysicist gave a series of six lectures at the royal institution during which he spoke on our planet’s space in the cosmos and detailed the prospects of venturing out into the unknown. The lectures are available on YouTube and can be found easily by searching “Sagan’s Christmas lectures”.

The Christmas of 2021 can also be marked as historic. From lectures, we have now moved towards concrete actions and what has happened a few days ago will have an immense impact on the future understanding of the ever-expanding cosmos. The James Webb space telescope (or JWST) has been finally launched on the 25th of December 2021.

The new episode on the history of the European football cup was recorded during the group stage matches. Took time to work on it and upload it today finally. A lot of the listeners wanted to hear this one and many more suggested me to make an episode dedicated to the beautiful game. As we all know Portugal the previous champions are out although while I recorded the podcast with my team I mentioned that they will reach the semi finals. Was wrong on that. What I guessed right are the potential candidates to win the cup this year. Italy, Belgium and England as they are still in the tournament.
