If you feel ordinary, useless, invisible, take heart! That is how most of us are. Even the heroes of the Bible were at first ordinary. And most of the believers who have lived since then have been doing the ordinary thigs of praying, worshiping, fellowshipping, and gathering. That is the ordinary Christian life we are called to.
