Some of you may recognize the name already, but we had the chance to catch up with Pratima Sherpa, the young lady seeking to become Nepal’s first-ever female professional golfer. Last April, she was featured in the Emmy Award Winning ESPN Documentary, A Mountain to Climb. Raised in a maintenance shed on a golf course, Pratima opens up about her upbringing and what she’s up to now. But the excitement doesn’t end there. We also brought on the ESPN feature producer of A Mountain to Climb—Kristen Lappas. She shared some incredible insight on what all went into this documentary, how it feels to win a Sports Emmy and the special bond her and Pratima now share.
