Pray and Set Your Foundation on Christ Alone
Luke 6
In this chapter, Jesus chooses twelve disciples or apostles from many candidates. He knows their capabilities and limitations. Two of them wrote gospel books, another was the primary leader of the first church, and there was also a traitor among them.
Jesus advises us to build our foundation solely on Him and to act based on what He has already established in His word. We should dedicate all our energy into areas such as relationships, businesses, or anything else, founded on the truth that Jesus has laid for us to follow. We are to act on his teachings and principles in order to build a strong house, building, or family.
Today, I encourage you to seek guidance through prayer for any major decision first. Then, apply what Jesus has set in His word. This way, we can establish the things and relationships dear to us, knowing that His teachings guide and support us.
