Psalm 102 beginning at verse 7: “I lie awake, and am like a sparrow alone on the housetop. My enemies reproach me all day long. Those who deride me swear an oath against me.”

I’m speaking to you today. You can’t sleep. You feel so alone. Voices tell you in your mind that they will take away even the shred of confidence that you have left. Your mind feels numb as you read this at the beginning of another gray day.

I don’t have a line that can change anything about the way you feel today, but I do have a promise for you. God is with you. He will not forsake you. He will not let your enemies overwhelm you. He is God, and you are His.
