Domestic violence, illness and self harm were a few painful moments that Mavis experienced on her journey. Mavis realized God had a plan for her life. The pain she experienced did not break, destroy or kill her spirit. Mavis realized that life's journey will always have stumbling blocks and she must always pray in the direction she was going.
