1 Thessalonians 5:17 is a small verse, it has only three words in it, "Pray without ceasing." You know, when I was a young Christian, I used to say, "How on earth do you do that?" Well, the answer is simple. Just keep talking to God throughout the day. He goes where you go. If you're worried about looking crazy while praying as you go about your day, all you have to do is appear to be on your cell phone, as some do, and just start praying. You'd be surprised at how many people we see talking to themselves on the streets in New York city. I don't see any reason why they should out-talk us. We can talk to God. I thought to myself, "I'm not going to let these people out-talk me when I could be praying." I'd rather look crazy while possibly praying someone into heaven than just walking down the street and doing nothing. I guess it's the same for you as it is with me. There are no more excuses in our day. It's time to pray without ceasing. It's time to pray.
