We need to constantly be reminded about spiritual things because everything in this world is trying to pull us back into walking in natural, carnal things. Human knowledge, human senses. Also called “head faith” – what you believe with your head – instead of walking in Spiritual faith. Walking with the faith in your heart.

Many times, everything in your everyday life will seem so natural that it will pull you back into walking in the natural instead of walking by faith. If you’re not careful, as we discussed before, even your church will try to take faith OUT of you rather than putting faith IN you. Amen.

Some people will try to get you to doubt and try to make you walk by head knowledge or sense knowledge. But we – as faith people – need to walk by faith and not by sight. We need to walk by heart faith, not head faith.

As I’ve shared before, Mark 11:23-24 are my main scriptures I use to walk by faith and not by sight. If it were not so, Jesus would not have said it was so. Many times, that is the only thing I have to stand on. But guess what – in those cases – it is all I needed. Amen!

Not only is this true concerning healing, but it is true in every aspect of life in this world. No matter what the need is, we receive the same way from God every time. Amen.

Some people will pray and pray and pray and never see their prayers answered. Others will pray one time and “THERE IT IS.” Amen!

Jesus said if you believe you receive WHEN YOU PRAY, then YOU will receive the thing you are praying for. He did not say, “Sometimes you will receive it.” He did not put any qualifier on believing and receiving at all except to say “do not doubt in your heart.”

Believing you receive BEFORE you see the answer is the most important part of this equation. Not an hour from now or tomorrow. Believe at the exact moment you say AMEN!  That’s what AMEN stands for, by the way, in case you did not know it. AMEN stands for “SO BE IT.”

So when you pray and say amen, you are really saying “In Jesus Name I pray – SO BE IT.”

You will not become a spiritual powerhouse overnight, just like you will not be able to bench press 300 pound the first week you start working out. It takes time and repetition. It takes an increase in resistance. That’s true for weightlifting and for praying.

As you become stronger in the spirit, those little devils that used to hang around you and try to tempt you keep getting their bells rung every time you pray. So they go on to other folks who are not as strong spiritually. Then a little more stronger devil comes along to see how he will do with you. At first, you may wonder why? But if you continue to stand strong in the Word and in Faith, pretty soon, he will get tired of getting his head smashed in with the Word of God he will move on, too.

The person who thinks he is spiritually strong and has nothing else to worry about is simply deceiving himself. The only one who has achieved that level of success is Jesus Himself. Amen. The rest of us need to keep working out spiritually just like we need to keep working out physically. Amen!

Smith Wigglesworth said some people are ready to give up before they actually begin. When they do, it just proves they never did believe God to begin with. I have to agree.

Remember in Acts 27 when the Apostle Paul was on the ship that was being tossed and in jeopardy of sinking. An angel appeared to him and told him that he and the crew were going to be alright, because he still had a mission to accomplish.
