We have been studying how Christians in the United States, and, for that matter, in all nations of the world, have allowed satanic influences to sneak into our government. 

What I want to do today, is let’s go back to our foundation scripture in Ephesians 6:12-18.  I keep emphasizing, we do not pray against people. I don’t care if the person is being the cruelest SOB you’ve ever dealt with. It is the demon that is influencing him that is the issue. Not him. He may have given the demon access. But if you want to get mad at someone – get mad at the devil. Use your authority, in the Name of Jesus, and bind that demon. Bind him up tight! Amen! 

We DO NOT pray against people.  We pray against the devil who is influencing the people…amen!  When someone comes against you, in one way or another…it is easy to get offended and start to pray like –“God, make brother so and so stop this…”  but you should be binding the devil who is influencing brother so and so…and praising God for the victory in your behalf.  Pray Isaiah 54:17 “No weapon formed against me shall prosper and every tongue that comes against me shall be condemned.”  Remember, we do not pray against people.  Two of Jesus disciples (James and John – the Son’s of Thunder) got upset with a group of people and asked Jesus “you want us to pray down fire against them?”  and Jesus rebuked them and said, “You don’t know of what spirit you are.”  

If  you keep trying to come against God’s people…you keep on keeping on…and keeping on and keeping on….eventually, God is going to have to put a stop to you because you are hindering His work in their lives….instead of trying to get them saved you are trying to send them to hell…and He does not want them to go to hell…but if  you keep praying against them instead of praying for them…God will have to deal with YOUR attitude!  Amen!

Jesus takes it personally if you try to come against His people…think about the Apostle Paul!  Jesus said to him, “why do you keep persecuting ME?”  amen!

Ephesians 6:17-18

Take the Word of God – praying!  Don’t try to pray without the Word of God.  We are to pray God’s Word over the situation.  We are praying against the devil when we lift up the Word of God in a situation….Every prayer should contain the Word of God!  Amen!

Every prayer should be based on scriptures relevant to the prayer being made. What I mean by this is this. If you are praying for healing, for you or a loved one, etc., you – YOU – need to go and look up healing scriptures. YOU need to write them down. YOU need to study them. YOU need to understand them. YOU need to do this. Not the other person.  It works a lot better and a lot faster if the other person is as motivated about this as  you are – through what? The “power of agreement.” 

Folks, this is not rocket science. We’ve been studying “How to Effectively Use the Power of Agreement” and the last week or so it was the “Power of Agreement and Binding and Loosing.” Amen!  This is all relevant to the world we live in right now.

So YOU need to have these scriptures as the basis for every single prayer you make. Healing scriptures if healing; blessing scriptures if blessings; prosperity scriptures for finances, etc. 

I’m going to leave you with this thought, as we are starting to get long again today.  That thought is this:  THE WORD OF GOD WORKS.  Period. If you get to the point where you believe that, as Jesus taught, “Nothing will be impossible for you.” Amen!
