Prayer 2021 - October 7 - Liar, Hypocrite or Believer pt 3
Scripture For Today:Acts 12:5“So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.”Liar, Hypocrite or Believer pt 3
We’ve been studying the topic of whether you are a “Liar, Hypocrite or a Believer.” Yesterday, I know I stepped all over your spiritual toes. I know it, you know and JESUS knows it too. Amen! But if you got your toes sticking out from under the table, they WILL get stepped on when the Word of God comes a knocking. Amen!
Anyway, I said yesterday that we would take it up where we left off. We learned in Ephesians 6:10 to be Strong in the Lord and in the POWER of HIS MIGHT! We learned we are to “put on the whole armor of God.” We learned in Romans 1:16 that “the Gospel IS the Power of God.”
We learned in Ephesians 2:!-2 that Satan inhabits the atmosphere of this earth and is called the “Prince of the power of the air.” That’s his domain.
Now, let’s go back to Matthew 18:18-20 (which we studied intensely before, so I’m not going to go into too much detail here, you go back and look it up). We learn about BINDING and LOOSING.
To bind on earth…Jesus has already bound the devil…and has given us the right / responsibility to use His Power ON EARTH….now, here is a tough question for you…think before you answer it…your life depends on it….where do we live? ON EARTH!!! Then this means Jesus has given to us his power to use HERE – not after you get to Heaven!!! Glory to God!!!
“But we did that brother Bob…and it didn’t work.” YOU LIAR! “What…it didn’t work, brother Bob!” You, my friend – are a liar! “But, brother Bob, we prayed and it didn’t work…. OK, look…does the Bible say it works! YES…that is because JESUS said it works! Now…either you are a liar…or the Bible says Jesus lied…and I PICK YOU! You will never get me to say Jesus is a liar…got that!?
Ok, now that we established that as a fact…we have to figure out WHY you did not receive the answer to your prayer you were praying for…but we have to start with the premise that the WORD WORKS…the devil just stopped your prayer and your blessing…so, let’s deal with the devil…amen!
Let’s go over now, this scripture that talks about the Prince of the Power of the air…the spirit that works and is at work, in the children of disobedience….that is the air…the atmosphere that surrounds this planet…amen!
There are three Heavens in the Bible….you have the Heaven where God’s Throne is located. You have the heaven that is what we call “outer space” where the planets and solar system and universe is located…and you have the third heaven which is the atmosphere that surrounds this planet…the air that we breath…that is where the devil is limited to his operations…he is not omnipresent and he does not have the right to travel to the Heaven where God is located…he is bound to this earth…ok?
Tomorrow, we will look at an example that demonstrates this, straight from the Word of God. Amen!
