The heart of prayer is drawing close to the heart of God. While this may be easier to do when times are good, in times of distress or silence it is even more vital. God’s faithfulness to us in our past, present, and future gives us the faith to carry on in His will.

Key Verse: As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? (Psalm 42:1-2)
