Luke 5:33-35, 33 Then they said to Him, “Why do the disciples of John fast often and make prayers, and likewise those of the Pharisees, but Yours eat and drink?”34 And He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?” (NKJV)

 

In this sermon, we look at the connection that prayer and fasting have with revival. Every modern day revival has come about because someone or a group has prayed and moved the hand of God to revival. God never does anything as major as a revival without someone fasting and praying hard for it. There are three types of prayer that cause revival to take place; The prayer of 1) Agreement, 2) Declaration, 3) Intercession!
