In the book of 1 Kings, chapter 18, verses 37 to 39, the prophet Elijah prayed a prayer that brought in a new day. "Hear me, Oh Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God and that You have turned their hearts back to You again. Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, 'The Lord, He is God. The Lord, He is God.'" This man of God's prayer brought in a new year and it's time for you and I to pray like we've never prayed before and say, "Oh God, hear me. God hear me and do something in my life that everyone around me, my family, my friends, my community, my associates will know that you are God because they will see the passion of your presence in my life." It's time to pray.
