Prayer for Giving to Others
We can’t beat God’s giving no matter how hard we try. We give to one another, to charities, to churches and our God just keeps giving more back to us. Pray for those impacted by Ida, but give too.
Pray for: prayer to give more, pray for giving, prayer to help one another, pray to give for relief efforts, prayer to help one another
Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you. Luke 6:37-38 ESV

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him; the Lord protects him and keeps him alive; he is called blessed in the land; you do not give him up to the will of his enemies. Psalm 41:1-2 ESV

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 ESV
