Almighty God, you sustain all relationships and ordained marriage as a sacred covenant to bring joy and peace. We humbly ask that you heal this strained relationship. Renew their love for one another and help them to communicate with understanding and compassion. Lead them to seek reconciliation and bring peace that passes all understanding. We pray you would strengthen their marriage and fill it with joy, hope, and peace. Guide them to forgive and to live in a manner that honors and respects one another. Give them the courage and strength to work through difficulties and seek wise counsel. Grant them patience and perseverance to seek what is best for their relationship and to keep looking to you for guidance, understanding, and encouragement. Help them to become one in body, soul, and spirit and to strive for a marriage that brings glory to your name. We ask these things in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
