Prayer is the spiritual mechanism God put in place to bring us freedom from the rule of darkness we have overcome through Christ Jesus. Ephesians 6:12 says, "For we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against the powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the high places" - NLT version.
