Jehoshaphat was a righteous king. He instituted righteous reforms in Judah. He demanded integrity in his judges. After these deeds of faithfulness, he was surrounded by enemies much greater than his military prowess. He sought the Lord and declared a fast throughout Judah. In the midst of the congregation, he declared God's dominion and the nation's dependence on Him.
