Effectual prayer is not a technique to master. It is God doing what only God can do, in time, through sons who carry an eternal perspective.
This teaching works through James 5:16 by way of Philippians 2:12-13, refusing the religious reading that turns "work out your salvation" into a relay race where Christ hands you the baton and watches you stumble. The argument is precise: what makes prayer effectual is not fervency, not repetition, not even faith as a personal possession, because faith is not something you hold, it is someone you received. The Faith of Christ is what every believer already carries. What makes anything effectual in the spiritual realm is always the work of God, never human effort applied to a spiritual problem. The teaching then lands on the decisive claim that prayer becomes effective when the Eternal enters the temporal to make it Divine, which is the work of the Holy Spirit, not the work of the one praying.
SCRIPTURE: Philippians 2:12-13, James 5:16, John 6:28-29, 2 Corinthians 5:21
