A wife's prayers for her husband are a powerful thing. I try to make it a habit to pray for my husband every day. I will be honest that it is not something I always succeed at doing.

However, I know that it is important. Spending time in prayer is crucial for my spiritual life and spending time praying for my husband is one of the many ways that I can be a blessing to him in our marriage.

I am grateful that God meets me where I am in prayer. If the day is crazy and hectic I can still come to God in my frazzled state and pray. I do not have to set aside a large block of time. The Bible says that we should pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and to me that means that it does not matter whether I am changing diapers, scrubbing dishes, or sitting quietly with my Bible. God wants to hear our prayers no matter what.
