In the book of Acts, the first four chapters reveal an amazing culture of prayer that translates into a great culture of generosity. We learn from the early church that the power of God  they encountered in their prayer life caused them to have a deep love for one another. This made sharing their resources a celebrated practice. For the church in our day, these chapters give us more than a history lesson.  They teach us the pattern of heaven for the community of disciples in our local churches.
