Praying the Lord’s Prayer

The Scripture reading is from Matthew 6:9-13. So often today the Lord’s Prayer is only recited verbally in a church service. But Jesus gave us the prayer, not as a form to be recited, but as a prayer embracing certain concepts that are to be embraced in our praying. Far too often we fail to understand that the prayer is really about enlarging the Kingdom of God here on earth. “Praying the Lord’s Prayer” is part of our “Kingdom Building Prayer” series.
