God doesn’t want us to pray with contrived words and manufactured emotions. He wants honest words and authentic emotions. He doesn’t want us to hide. He desires raw, bold, audacious, unconventional prayers because THOSE are from the heart. But a lot of us think that God desires proper prayers over shameless prayers. We think that God cares more about the act of praying rather than the posture of our prayers. But to pray with shameless audacity is to pray not to fulfill a religious duty but to satisfy a desire to be met and heard by God.
