Love What You Heard? Send a message!
Today we are welcoming Sarah Nicole Landry also known as @thebirdspapaya on IG to have a raw and open conversation about her through pre-natal depression with her child Lemmie. Though there is always so much to a story, and a journey, Sarah shares with us what she feels called to today and we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Sarah is a light in the online space, inspiring her over 2 million followers on IG each day. What started as a DIY maker blogger, her platform and presence quickly turned into a social media mentor and professional sharer of her beautiful and real journey. After being exhausted by social media’s body perfecting habits, she decided to change the way she showed up in the world and as a result has changed the face of health and body in an incredibly positive way.
Here’s what we’re talking about in this episode:
-Sarah’s journey through prenatal depression. What it is, how she knew it was time to ask for help and how she’s doing now.
-how 2 conflicting feelings can co-exist (joy and sadness)
-what help looked like
-the myth about pregnancy and postpartum (connection with your baby)
-we tend to romanticize pregnancy
-we also learned some random fun facts about Sarah
