The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department has resumed spring catfish stocking at 18 neighborhood fishing lakes across the state—including Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and more. These lakes offer easy access for anglers of all experience levels, with regular stockings through October (excluding August). Youth under 17 fish free, and affordable licenses are available for adults.
