Oh so many motions! The second episode this week and it's only the beginning. The hearings of motions continue while new ones are simultaneously being dropped and responded to. The defense team has requested to cancel the Daubert-Lanigan hearing of forensic digital expert, Richard Green. However, before they get to that, an additional amicus brief had been filed by Boston Magazine reporter, Gretchen Voss.

In this episode, an update as to the motion for discovery of the journalist's notes which had been partially redacted is made by the Commonwealth, while Gretchen Voss, as a 3rd party, is requesting to not un-redact as well as consider excluding the sharing of all of her audio recordings and hand-written notes from June 2023, when she sat with Karen read for an interview. Ms. Voss Article, A Killing That Tore A Town Apart, has been the subject of discovery. The Commonwealth is convinced that the journalist is sitting on Inculpating evidence. Did Karen confess?
