In Corinthians 11, Paul addresses another division causing problems in the church at Corinth. Instead of coming together to observe the Lord’s Supper they were coming for a feast to fill their bellies.

Paul uses the meaning of the bread and cup to show the church the importance of the memorial meal.

God does not call the equipped; He equips the called. This means that when God gives a purpose, He also provides the necessary strength, gifts, and grace to fulfill it.

Many times we read what is taught but not what is taking place. We need to focus on the actions of God as well as what is said of God. Moses's calling is one of those instances where we need to see what God DOES before we see what God says.

​This Sunday, we’re diving into 1 Corinthians 8-10 to tackle a tough question: How do we handle our "rights" and our "knowledge" when they clash with someone else’s convictions?

​The Apostle Paul reminds us that "Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up." We need to be reminded how to trade our "right to be right" for the power of Christian love.

Paul challenges us with a radical idea: your current season—whether you’re married or single, in a job you love or a situation that’s difficult—is the very place where you are called to walk with God.
