Ep 2 – Preacher – Three’s Company

In their 2nd episode under Entertainment, Wike and Weber chat about AMC’s TV show The Preacher. If you’re a fan of the Vertigo comic series Preacher, the adaptation is finally here where multiple previous attempts were made but failed. Evan Goldberg, Seth Rogen, and show-runner Sam Catlin (best known for the Breaking Bad series) invited writer Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon, who created the comic book series, as consultants giving their approval on the adaptation production. Similarities and differences between the TV show and comic series are discussed including some interesting tidbits about the show’s cast, limitations surrounding the adaptation, and overall grade of the show: Wike scoring a 9/10 and Weber 8/10.
