In today's Gospel reading, Jesus shows us a model for how our faith might be acted out in love. He first heals Simon's mother-in-law, He then goes off to pray and then extends His ministry to the neighboring towns. In isolation, we might think healing is beyond our capability. We might think, I don't have time to pray. We might think, why do I have to be the one to proclaim the unconditional love of Jesus. Yet, there is much much more to the story.
