Does God predestine every person's salvation, and if so does that mean we have free will?  What does it mean to be God's elect?  These questions have been debated for centuries resulting in multiple interpretations of passages like Romans 8 for example.  Oddly enough this passage wouldn't have been problematic for the intended audience (the church in Rome).  So let's break down the main purpose of the final 10 verses in Romans 8.
