The debate between predestination and free will has been going on for centuries, and it’s certainly not something that will be resolved anytime soon. On one side, those who believe in predestination say that God has already predetermined who will accept Jesus Christ as Savior … man has no choice … if it is God’s will that you become a Christian then it will happen. On the other side, those who support free will say that God gives us the choice to decide whether to follow Jesus Christ or not. That is a very simple description of the debate, but the battle between predestination and free will goes much deeper than that.
