Generation 0 immigrant who came to the US with a background in hotel restaurant management and then rose to a VP of Engineering role at now late stage, pre-IPO startup. 

That in and of itself makes for a great story. 

When you add in elements of a divorce, bucking cultural tradition, being fiercely independent, and overall bravery, this is a story that is even more remarkable.
