In this final prelude episode of On The Kouch, we are Seated with Waiting, and what it truly means to wait well.
Together, we unpack the manner in which waiting is often reduced to seasons of longing for specific outcomes: marriage, provision, breakthrough, promotion. But waiting, in its truest form, is not confined to what we hope to receive, it is rather, about who we are becoming as we wait, and ultimately, Who we are waiting for.
This conversation reframes waiting not as a temporary inconvenience, but as the posture of the Christian life. That our entire lives are, in many ways, a waiting room — not for material milestones, but for the return of Jesus Christ.
In that light, waiting becomes less about enduring delay and more about living faithfully, anchored, and illuminated.
This episode originally aired in July 2025 as part of a series of conversations shared on TikTok, before On The Kouch was formally established as a podcast. This prelude episodes now lives here as the foundation of the journey, setting the tone for Season One.
With that, we close our prelude series, and if these preludes were about laying the heart of this sacred living space, what comes next is about walking it out.
So, take your seat On The Kouch darling, we’re nearing the point of beginning again.
