This week we are joined by former Everton, Man City and Wolves striker Michael Branch.  He tells us of his rise to playing upfront for Everton in 2 Merseyside Derby’s, making his debut against the class of 92’ to rooming with David Beckham at the England age groups!  However, Michael’s career was blighted by injuries which led to his retirement at just 27. He then tells us his experience of prison just 10 years after scoring at Goodison he was in prison.  Finally, Michael talks of his recovery and getting his life back on track now working for Everton Charity ‘Everton in the community’.  This is a story of how quickly things can turn in professional football, he also offers some advice for young people in similar positions.  #everton #footballer #podcast
