Premier Steven Marshall joined Erin & Soda this morning and confirmed that there is one additional case recorded overnight.

He thanks everyone for their "huge testing effort" and he is "hopeful that we've stopped this dead in its tracks. I'm thinking positively that we continue to have a good run. I'm 100% this is the right call."

There are 86 testing sites and the government is massively ramping them up. "Demand has gone through the roof, but only a certain amount you can ramp up at certain sites. I apologise for the delays," Marshall said.

Marshall said they are looking at setting up more 24 hour testing sites but there are slight delays with moving people around.
