The latest release, 'Dawn Drops' EP from Berlin-based imprint Jazz-o-Tech, comes as a collaboration between two Finnish artists Aki Himanen and Aleksi Kinnunen. Both Himanen and Kinnunen are jazz musicians and techno producers, so this project found a perfect home in Jazz-o-Tech. Jazz-o-Tech is a label that draws on the rich heritage of two of the most visionary and experimental genres in music: jazz and techno. Taking inspiration from the freeform creative nature of those two musical worlds, artists on the label mix tradition with modernity, improvisation with experimentation, and create a new sound known as techno-jazz.

Two originals on the release are accompanied by dark, driving remixes from PEG and Polygonia. Polygonia's remix of 'Dawn Drops' brings rumbling groove, haunting mysticism of elusive pads, and trippy floating trumpet, which create an incredibly calming atmosphere that will do wonders on dance floors during after hours.
